Exclusive: Manny Steps Down as Americans GM, Proctor to Serve as Interim

Jarómy Dragr: Hi Manny. Thanks for sitting down with me today, Manny. I believe you have some news to share?

Bryan Madaleno: That is correct. Effective immediately, I will be stepping down and leaving the Ivory Tower. The Americans conducted a long interview process and Paul Proctor will be co-GM with Brauny.

Dragr: Wow! Not the big shake-up that the fans were expecting. What prompted this?

Manny: Mainly swamped with work the next couple months and don’t have time to slack or find subs and stuff.

Dragr: Interesting….and you are….

Manny: An Architect.

Dragr: Yes! That’s it. Bryan Madaleno: Sex Architect.

Manny: No.

Dragr: Yes. Let’s move on. Tell us about Proctor and Brauny. Think they’ll work well together?

Manny: They are going to work great together. Both have strong hockey knowledge and know what our guys can do out there. Brauny and I had a long talk about this and we know Proctor is the guy moving forward and help this team to the next level.

Dragr: How would discuss your experience in the Ivory Tower thus far?

Manny: Time in the Ivory Tower has been great. I’m going to miss my time there but a GM has to know when to step down. I drafted a solid team and got us to this point but playoffs are coming and I know Proctor is the guy to take us all the way.

Dragr: Would you ever consider returning to ownership?

Manny: Yes, I would. Not ruling it out for next season.

Dragr:  Thank you for taking the time to sit down with me today.  Best of luck to you moving forward.

Manny:  Thank you.
