Last night, the league players managed to actually make it over the the House of Shamrocks. The House of Shamrocks–who is the official bar sponsor of Monday Night Lights Hockey League–was the home of the raucous draft night for the 2017 MNL Draft. Rumor has it, they made back their entire sponsorship back in one night; however, the boys of MNL were heavily lacking some Shammy-Sham in the lives for the first 10 weeks of the season.

A hungry Giorgio Orlandi was wasting away, hoping the league players would relocate to “The House” because he skipped Mom’s Spaghetti dinner to play in the Diques game earlier in the night.  After pretty much giving up that nobody would be going, League Secretary Jeremy Drager went door-to-door enlisting people to head over to Shamrocks.

After getting enough yes’s, the boys convoyed over to Shammyshams and got in just as the kitchen was closing.  With a little MNL charm, the boys convinced them to keep the kitchen open for juuuusttt a little bit longer and were able to enjoy some food with their buckets.  It was at this point, the waitress came over and started lecturing the boys, yelling at them about the fact they haven’t been there for the last 10 weeks.

The players assured the waitress that they would return and that they only missed because the weather was warm.  Now that it is cooling down, the House of Shamrocks is expecting higher attendance from the MNL patronage.  Shamrock Sally then said that she wouldn’t be able to wait for us forever.  They’ve agreed to keep the kitchen open a little later if Whoop continues to show up and buy a whole bunch of Mac and Cheese Bites.
