Paulinski Helping Ukrainian Refugees with Hockey

MNLHL Northstar and 2022 MVP Candidate Chad Paulinski is stepping up and using his tip jar savings to help those in need that have fled Ukraine.

Paulinski, who won the Stanley Keg with the Golden Seals last season, is also the owner, president, and celebrity drop-in player for Herbatnik Pełnoziarnisty, a beer league team in his hometown in Poland. Shortly after the Northstars were eliminated from the MNL playoffs, Chad’s tip jar fund had reached a season record 2,836.73 USD.

Normally the 33-year-old uses his self-degradation supported savings to buy sick new gear for the next MNL season, but this year is different. Paulinski is organizing a charity game at the Icemania Arena in Lublin Monday night with all proceeds from the event going to those who have been forced to leave their home after Russia invaded Ukraine.

“The last few weeks, the world has changed,” said Paulinski in a post-game interview. “The money I saved up because I am so bad, and all we can raise at this hockey event, is going to be using for those people, kids, mom and all people to help them to survive.

“Another terrible season…”

Fans around the world can watch the game online through the MNLHL Twitch Stream and support the cause by purchasing a charity ticket at tipjar.mnlhl.com.

Paulinski had a stellar 2022 regular season with 8 goals and 25 points overall. League analysts claim however that, without his annual glow-up, the gearhead will drop an estimated 9 picks in next year’s draft. When brought to his attention, Paulinski was pleased stating, “It is for the good cause and that is where I should be drafted anyway!”
