Seals F Michael ‘Ace Cherry’s Pikora has been designated for LTIR due to back pain. He is expected to miss the entire season. Rumor has it up-and-coming prospect Isaiah Pikora skated into the defensive zone, causing Pikora to rage like crazy and started throwing benches out onto the ice. With that, he threw out his back. The League wishes him a quick recovery.

With the open slot on the roster, the Seals have opted to skate ten skaters for the remainder of the season with the remaining Seals players pooling in to pay for Pikora’s league fees. The MNL Executive Office called an emergency meeting to discuss the new territory this has put them in. After some healthy discussion, management has decided to grant the Golden Seals their request by a vote of 7 to 3, with 2 abstaining.

To honor the lost player, the Golden Seals will wear Cherry patches on their jerseys. In addition, they will start a GoFundMe to recover his non-refundable league fees. Only Seals players will contribute to this GoFundMe account. No word on whether the GoFundMe will try to account for his medical expenses.
