Clockgate Adds Asterisk to Shugacube Victory

Fans were rioting in Hazel Park Monday night after the curfew clock went off with 2:30 left in regulation. The score was 1-1 and the zamboni driver immediately opened the doors to the ice. Shuga, the Shugacube’s GM, verbally acknowledged that a shootout would be an acceptable way to end the match. Chris Taylor, Face of the Wheeling Taylors’ Franchise, silently nodded his head in agreement. The shootout went to 7 rounds before Busta finally got a puck past Goalie sub Jeremy Coan, his second of the night. The teams quickly got off the ice and changed quickly to start the clock so Game 2 of the night wouldn’t have the same problem. However, Hazel Park elected to give the second game an additional 10 minutes on their clock from the first game, allowing them to end their matchup with enough time for Peso to work on his shot for about 5 minutes.

-Former Commissioner and Current Loudmouth Troy Otto
