Monday night Shakes goalie Jeremy @jcoan Coan was left shell shocked by the Sugar Cubes in a 6-3 loss. Coan faced 207 shots on net and only surrendered five goals. The Cubes were lead by @hardyparty92 who tallied three Geno’s on the night. “It could have been 15-3 if it wasn’t for Coaner” said @ottotroy29 who subbed for the ailing McShannock Shakers. The game had the feel of a blowout but the score board didn’t reveal the truth. The Shakes lifted Coan with two minutes remaining but could not sustain a offensive push to tie the game.
The rare combination of size and speed known as @youngtr7 Trent led the Cubes from the back end with several coast to coast rushes. @Busta , @antio1pd Antioch and Hardy dazzled their opponents with passing and shots on net. “I need to vindicate myself for being snubbed as the MNL MVP last season and missing out on my “Dickie”!” said Hardy. He leads the Spring Season in goals with five. Busta was set up for numerous open net goals but could not capitalize. “It’s a pleasure playing on this line. It’s so much better than playing with @pniphoratos “.
Sugar’s Shot Chart
Advanced metrics showed the onslaught of shots Coan faced. Depicted in the graph above is the shot chart for Sugar alone. Disgusted by his teams defensive effort, Coans frustration revealed itself. “I wanted to kill @allanz @tyeotto and Troy. I’ve seen @pantydropper play better defense than those fuckers”.
