Post Draft Analysis Winners and Losers

With one last abated breath MNLHL gasped outward in exasperation and exaggerated eye rolls as they waited for the S.I reporter Andru Wheaties to release his pre, then post, and finally weeks late synopsis. Realizing they wouldn’t receive a quality write up in the time frame they were seeking -to hassle their league friends- they moved on to the preseason write ups, and eventually post preseason analysis. However, just as the league gave up all hope, or cares that a draft analysis even existed was when MNLHN came in to reignite the hype! It was the hero article MNL didn’t know they needed, and definitely didn’t deserve. It seemed like ages ago, but in fact it has only been six Mondays since @’Peso’ started nightly teachings of his off season weight lifting regimens, four buckets of Labatts were purchased twice, @’ottotroy29′ haggled with the House over sponsorship details, and MNL players confusedly tried on the new  Dangle Sauce sweaters only to proclaim what the vendor mentioned five seconds before: ‘yeah I think these run small.’ With the preseason storylines played out, roster dust settled and the dawn of the second inaugural season starting tonight; MNL hype is on the ride back up.

Andru Wheaties Hot or Not Take:

In this piece the S.I goes into depth on whom he feels was a “hot”, spicy pick in the draft, who he feels was a “not”/risky pick, and possible sleepers that could make or break one of the six teams in MNL in this foreboding season.

Hot:

@’hardyparty92′ aka ‘Sugar Cube’ ‘Dean Youngblood’ – Just like Grandma’s sweet tea ‘Sugar Cube’ has only been getting better with time. The inaugural MNL season saw him go number one overall for the Nordiques. While some felt that he had lulls mid way through last season as he saw the sin bin more possibly leading to the Diques losing streak  yet replicated again in the MNL. The Diques turned it around towards the end of the season, and had grit in the playoffs largely on the back of this ‘Youngblood.’ As a result @’hardyparty92′ still finished top six in the league in scoring. This initial MNL Winter success compounded with an excellent behavioral Spring season, and more importantly scoring title in the first annual MNL Spring Hockey League -again on a bottom feeding team: Book Hockey. Mighty Ducks management could not pass him up.

Going forward if ‘Sugar Cube’ can temper his Patty Kane’s 15′-16′ false allegation rape rage-fueled alike temper, and replicated what he did in Spring ala be on the ice where he’s most effective. He’ll retain his elite Corsi percentage, and league best turnover ratio and compete for the league MVP award trying to cement his status as the best player in the league and prove that MNL inaugural Spring 16′ season wasn’t a fluke, casting @’pauly’s shadow aside. He may not be the ‘Charlie Conway’ the Mighty Ducks wanted specifically, but a ‘Youngblood’ may have been a better prescription for @’turtletim’ and co.

Final Line: 15 Ginos, 22 Apples, 8 PIM  Top 5 in scoring, Hart Finalist.

@’pauly’ aka ‘Doctor,’ ‘Mr. MVP,’ ‘Charlie Conway’ – The Mighty Ducks have to be fuming. This isn’t how the movies went. Sure they have two of the top three best defensive forwards in the league, however ‘Charlie Conway,’ the ‘Mr. MVP’, and league demi-god @’pauly’ Proctor was snatched up as the first overall pick in second annual MNL draft in consensus with GM’s around the league. Even though he has had nagging injuries through the spring season, and lost his scoring title to the salty, yet sweet ‘Sugar Cube’ he was the safest pick in the draft and the players the Americans wanted to build their offense through. Unlike the MNL Spring League runner ups High Sticks however, @’Brauny’ drafted feels he has shrewdly to help assemble a first line with pieces befitting such a immortal being; and MNLHN agrees.

The playmaker, and sniper are in place on the first line unlike in Spring where the ‘Doctor’ often had to hold up play down low by himself, not able to cycle the puck to allude pressure, or even go alone one on two. The ability to either go 1A , 1B or SUPER STAR line, and grind line; still leaving pieces in place for Proctor to play off of seems like a perfect scenario for the Americans. With this in mind, and a John Wick sense of determined vengeance ‘Mr. MVP’ seems poised to crush the whispers of his diminishing dominance. The puck’s on @’pauly’s stick now, and just like in the movies ‘Charlie Conway’ will score. Only this time the Mighty Ducks will be on the end.

Final Line: 35 Ginos, 18 Apples, 2 PIM.  Rocket Richard Winner, Art Ross Winner, Conn Symthe Finalist. Hart Winner.

Pictured above is Paul ‘Charlie Conway’ Proctor as he informs GM and coach Busta “I’m joining the Americans they drafted me #1 overall this season.”

@Cunningham aka ‘Lumberjack’ -Not only does the vaunted Darren Cunningham look like a ‘Lumberjack’ and dress like one, he plays like one too –Daniel Norris eat your heart out. The man uses a wood stick, and plays with a sleek determination that makes the Nordiques blueline formidable. When paired with Bin or Panty he forms possibly the best overall 1st pairing or 2nd pairing in the league. How much can the Diques’ get out of their marauding ‘Lumberjack’ when the sky’s the limit is up to him and the style they play.

Final Line: 8 Goals. 12A. PiM 0. Team Leading +/- and Corsi. Norris Trophy Winner

@Jflo -He needs no nicknames or introductions. He’s simply known by @JFlo. And, while he may not have a flow to match his name, he does have a game that can do all the speaking for him. The highest drafted goalie in the league with the ability to steal games at crucial times and the league leader in Adjusted Goals Against Average, during Winter last year. He retains a emulates the Whalers motto of: ‘defense’ first completely and behind the twin towers will be expected to keep teams to two and below to give his team a chance to win all season. A large task that remains in-daunting for last inaugural’s Veznia winner.

Final Line: GAA 2.35. SV% .875. 4 SO. Veznia Finalist. William Jennings Winner.

@Aaron aka ‘Officer AA-ron’ -Shooting vulcanized rubber is a form of vandlism and Officer AA-ron is on the case. Going under the radar in the draft he excels at making simple play and giving his team a chance to win. With awards such as the Midwest Regional Midget Major District Champs and State Finalists the Seals are getting a solid bisci stopper and proven winner.

Final Line: GAA 2.65. SV% .850. 3 SO. 1 Helper. 2 PiM. Veznia Winner. 2nd Highest Wins in the League. Calder Runner Up.

@Gio aka ‘GQ’ -Possibly the steal of the draft and the scoring engine for the Nordiques. Not having a bro-crush on the guy will be hard not just because he has a shutter camera, and dresses like he’s on a Italian holiday in Lazio, but because his play is that of a top 5 scorer. The questions from doubters about whether or not his effort will be there. Some insist that he’s the Bure of Troy D league, while proponents of ‘GQ’ feel that it was just the environment/and or the tired back he had trying to carry the goal scoring weight for the KFalcs.

With doubts amiss he put those to shame thus far in the skates with the Seals. Finding a great chemistry with DaveP look for Gio to be in the top 5 for scoring in the league, and give Doctor Proctor a run for his money. He has strength and shot to make things happen down low in a system based game, or the speed one on one ability to beat his back check in a run-and-gun game. This was one of the Diques best picks of the night, and they were smart in adding a natural forward scoring talent that they needed.

Final Line: 25 Twine Finders, 20 Apples, 4 PIM  Top 3 in scoring, Hart Finalist. 331 Photos taken. 2 suits worn to the rink.

@House aka ‘Steal of the Draft’- Many GM’s around the league took notice of the high flying House. His unique ability to lay on a forecheck and then hold up play for other talents reminded many of a poor man’s @Pauly. Whether this will work out as anticipated, or whether House jumps around on 1A and 1B for this squad is tough to guess, but in either capacity he has the ability to create space for himself which just makes everyone else he plays with better.

Final Line: 6 Goals, 11 apples. 2 PiM. Selke Finalist. Grindline Calder Finalist.

@Skillman- Another player with a large frame Skillman may not be the fastest player on the ice, but his playstyle mimics that of Jumbo Joe Thorton. Using his reach and quick hands to maintain possession in traffic or get off shots from tight angles he will be the ‘go’ in the ‘give and go’ with Mr. MVP on the American’s first line. He creates his own chances and can finish them. When not playing with other speed the tempo of the game slows down and his outlets will remain harder to find, but it could be a blessing in disguise for Skillman if he play vs teams’ 1B, and or grindlines where he can take advantage of a similar pace.

Look for his points to come in stretches of use with Antioch, Proctor or Starr, and his utilization on the Power Play will become essential for the Americans going forward. An excellent addition of size in a squad that features Manny, Starr and Brauny as their tallest players.

Final Line: 14 Lamps Lit. 12 Apples. 4 PiM. Calder Finalist. 4th Best Corsi % in the League.

@Brennan -He’ll be a reliable 2nd defenseman on the 2nd or first pairings between the twin towers. This will be crucial for the Whalers to either stop goals or create them from the backend. He has the skating ability to do so, and the effort to dig pucks out from corners where most players won’t go. To get @Brennan in the 8th round and to be able to put him on the first pairing with Trent is solid scouting. Whether he remains there for the Whalers’ anemic offense will be the question of the season for him.

Final Line: 1G. 7A. PiM 4. Most Blocked shots for the Whalers.

@Zauner aka ‘The Mountain (Whom Skates)’ -A quiet workaholic that will be a much need asset on The Mighty Ducks blueline. He will be the glue that they’ll try to build their thin D corps around. With @DougEFresh coming in later. He’s a big body that’s not afraid to stand someone up or dig deep in the corners and use his frame to come out with the possession. He’s a stellar 2nd pairing defenseman, and a serviceable first pairing guy. Against the lower star lines and 1A lines in league this tactic should work.

Final Line: 4 Lamps Lit. 3 Apples. 4 PiM. 2nd highest hit total. Leading shot attempts from D on the Mighty Ducks.

@Panty aka ‘Pantydropper,’ ‘Da Commish,’ ‘Denmother,’ ‘League Secretary’- While he may not have the best luck with team building or scouting @Panties game has certainly exceled recently. He has improved his lateral movement and skating ability while also working on his off hand this past summer accrediting his new backhand to games being played with the Falcs and scrimmages alike.

As a second pairing defenseman he will compete for top honors as he looks to shutdown a league that has shifted to a 1A, 1B approach in lines. This influx of better talent on the second line is nothing new to the ex High Stick Asst. GM as he played many games last year against league top talent while keeping his +/- at a respectable level. Look for a break out year.

Final Line: 0 Goals. 5 Apples. 2PiM. Ted Lindsey Winner. 2nd Pairing Norris Trophy Runner Up. League Functions Organized on Slack 7.

@Vianande- Size and speed in a 11th round package is hard to find. Vianande plays above his level of talent and frankly was a steal at where he fell too. He should fit nicely on the grindline and actually elevate their puck possession ability. Frankly, its curious why so many GM’s let him fall to this position. Also in a contract year, he should be motivated to produce and crash the net as he has displayed this preseason.

Final Line: 2 Ginos, 4 Assists. 0 PiM.

Cold:

@’McCrackin’ aka ‘MNL Dentist’ ‘Byfuglien Two Electric Boogaloo’ -After promptly making MNL legend with the DaveP incident McCrackin went on to have a great inaugural MNL winter season finishing #6 in the scoring chase. After accomplishing a marmite and exciting season he choose to skip the Spring and it has shown unfortunately.

The Dentist will be looking to get his legs back under him. His hand eye is still the same as last year, but the pace of the 1st lines may have passed him by forcing @Troy to relegate him to the 2nd line to try and take advantage of other teams less skilled 1Bs/grindlines. Will the Nstar be able to deal with McCrackin that’s not up to speed in the first half of the season? Preseason says: yes. However, regular season is what counts and that’s what the denizens of MNL will wait to see if he can replicate.

Final Line: 7G, 8 Apples. PiM 6. Most Shot Attempts on Nstars. 2nd Most Shot Attempts in the League.

@’Jimmy Howard’ aka ‘The Real Jimmy Howard’ – DaveP’s boy and a former champion that knows how to win. He has looked rusty in his few starts that he has had. The Nordiques are playing the long game with Mr. Howard expecting him to ‘stand up’ and play the way they know he can.

In the meantime they’ll look to get him into @’Green and Mean’s’ rumored Bickrim Yoga classes and more skates under his belt to shake the rust off sooner. One can predict a poor first half, and a meteoric rising second half -however that’s not enough to save The Real Mr. Howard from the “cold.”

Final Line: GAA 3.10 SV% .800. 0 SO. 1 Apple.

@Hetes aka ‘Spicy Lettuce,’ ‘Hades,’ – After much hype from MNL pundits about ‘Spicy Lettuce’ being a high draft pick and competing with JFlo for top goaltender honors this year, he’s shown signs of being frustration, and irreverence. Kicking off this maligned start to preseason the Spicy Tender (as @Whoop hollers Fridays) has been gag ordered by (his team and) himself going into the MNL season opener.

If history serves as a guide his numbers from both the inaugural Spring Season where he backstopped a Highstick’s team to the championship, and maintained starts for the struggling Diques’ last year -still the only goalie in the league to get a shutout and still record a L- ‘Mr. Hades’ will right his ship for the Americans eventually the question remains: can he do it soon enough to be impactful before he leaves in January? The Americans need him in top gear for what little time he has here. With so many skates on his plate it’ll be interesting to see when this happens, and if pundits concerns are real, or just a scrimmage. . .

Final Line: GAA 2.50 SV% .865. 2 SO. Sin Bin 2. 2 Assists. Highest Win % in league. Fewest Games Played.

@DougEFresh -Coming into a season quarter way is never easy for any player and there are doubts surrounding DougEFresh’s ability to shake off the rust. The Mighty Ducks will have a rotating defense largely resting on his shoulders once he gets back.

Can he excel as a 1st pairing number one defenseman once he comes back? The Ducks will need him to if they are to keep the chances low on @Ronnie on a league-wide viewed weakest defense. How well DougE does when comes back will largely dictate how good or bad The Mighty Ducks defense really is, or if it’s simply a question mark on paper. . .

Final Line: Twine Finders 0, Apples 4. PiM 4. Top 10 in Blocked Shots in the League.

@pbin12 aka “Billti” -A versatile player that can play both forward and defense drafted for the Diques’ as a defenseman.  While the decision was questionable; Nordiques management has faith in his blueline talent and a willingness to go forward from the back while liking his vision -to bolster their breakout solidifying their defense. He has shown the ability for  randomly timed turnovers which makes one wonder if those turnovers may be better in the offensive end and if the creativity may be mired by being placed in arguably a top 5 scoring talent on defense, but you can’t have both a high powered offense and the best defense in the league.

The dream paring of him and @Cunningham or splitting them up will be the game plan of going forward. However, the Nordiques will always wonder season long if he could better excel on a grindline or the off wing of DaveP and Gino making a 1st line that could rival the Ducks and Americans, and where his turnovers can occur in the offensive zone as opposed to defensive zone when trying to create space for his teammates.

Final Line: Lamps Lit 15. Helpers 16. PiM 8. 4th over in the league in Shot Attempts.

@Marvin – The defenseman who never was. With rumors of this offensive defenseman Matheiu Schnedier look-alike being pushed to forward to replace cooling off Peso some questions are being raised if it’s idle threats or true lambasting by @Whoop. While Mr. Marvin may be a smooth, and sometimes electric offensive defenseman that is responsible in his own end and timely breakout passes it remains to be seen if he could translate that to the wing position if forced there for that matter. With this in mine I placed him the Cold portion over the Sleeper side.

Final Line: 3 Ginos. 11 Helpers. 0PiM. Lady Byng Winner.

@Maff aka ‘Gretzky’ -Maff would excel on almost any first line in the league. However, on the Whalers if he is asked to center their first line and be a scoring threat it will be tough for the ‘Poor Man’s Gretzky.’ He has the skating ability to be a two way forward, and nab points especially against the grindlines or the 2B lines in the league, but to ask him to help carry the scoring load on a offensively anemic Whalers squad will be a big ask. A good square player and lockeroom presence in the wrong circle hole on the ice.

Final Line: 1 Lamp Lit, Assists 2. PiM 0. Lady Byng Finalist.

Sleepers:

@Chad_Paulinski aka “The Polock” “Eyore” – League under-player and MNLHN reporter Chad is always underplaying his strengths. Drafted to the NStars yet again this year much to whatever you could call his ire. He has accepted his role on the grindline as a center and will exceed there. With a 1A and 1B setup “The Polock” will nab many more assists and tick around the same as last winters mark in the Gino’s column as he feeds Mcrackin in arguably the other best grindline in the league. Regardless of whether he believes in himself or not, he’ll bring pace and the vision needed to jump start the second Nstars line. Creating a new Belt orgin story perhaps. . .

Final Line: Goals 8. Helpers 8. PiM 2. Bill Masterton Runner Up.

@’Ronnie’ aka ‘Don’t Ask My Last Name,’ ‘The Nameless Man’ -‘The Nameless Man’ has not been the “Faceless Man” as he has shown his face in MNL before subbing in both the first MNL Winter and Spring sessions. While he may be a relaxed guy off the ice,  @Ronnie’s game is the opposite. He’s got the sickest set up in the league, and a level of variance in his game. He some flash with his game, and while not having may not be the sterling example that is JFlo or retired MNL HoF @Swannberg, his record is 2-0 in games subbed thus far, and has the ability to be play at high level.

The Mighty Ducks are banking on a high powered offense to push them through this season attempting to outscore their opponent. If Ronnie can

Final Line: 3.0 GAA. SV% .815 1 SO. 3rd in League Wins.

@Troy aka ‘Da Comish’ ‘Mean and Green’ -Everyone’s favorite goalie to bash for good or bad reasons is back in the lime light this 2nd inaugural season for something the league isn’t ‘used to seeing’: his play. ‘Da Commish’ has been more reserved on the ice this year, staying in his own lan- er. . . crease and focusing on his own play. This has led to the best pre-season numbers so far, and a stellar value for pick. If he continues to focus on his own play on the ice his ceiling is high and to be a front runner at the very least for the Veznia.

The quick off season turn around has not been without scrupulous methods however, as it’s been rumored that Asst. GM Tye Otto had enlisted one of his hunnies to help, and fid Troy a Bickerim Yoga teacher, while other rumors are that Troy has been receiving lessons from an unknown goaltending coach, or even a sports psychologist to control his anger (as reported by our own Junior Señor Reporter Carlos Antonio Machismo) -normally directed at his defenseman. In any case consistency has been the ‘Mean and Green’s’ issue. If this issue can continue to be rectified, or made sparse drafting ‘Da Commish’ as low as he went will be a crime against the league, and give every chance for the Northstars to avenge last seasons fizzle out.

Final Line: 2.60. GAA. SV% .840. 2 SO. League Leading Wins. 2 PiM. 1 Apple. Veznia Runner Up. King Clancy Memorial Finalist. Runner up GM of the Year.

@AllanZ ‘Renaissance’ -The Mighty Ducks love this guy, and the league will too. A league newcomer this fall @AllanZ is looking to show what he can do skating behind that high powered first line. He’s got the ability to maintain puck possession, and a keen spatial awareness to find the open man. Look for ‘Renaissance’ to do it all, and rack up some points on the PP, while similarly sacrificing the body on the PK to block a shot. The best part is he’ll be there after the game, before the game, in between the games, and even to games that aren’t in MNL like WBW, or KFalcs just to have a beer, and carry on stories. A great lockeroom presence, with skills to match: what’s not to like?

Final Line: Ginos 4, 6 Assists. 0 PiM. Lady Bing runner up. King Clancy Memorial Winner.

@Wright -This is the tale of the Spring League Folk hero: ‘Wrighty’. ‘Wrighty’ was looked at as surplus parts in winter. Similar to many of the leagues bottom grindlines, his skills started to pick up from Winter to Spring. The introduction and combination of Cipps aka ‘Weeble Wobble,’ and Wrighty made for one of the biggest shakeups in grindline history: the little (but actually big) Grindline that could; supplanting higher draft picks and placing themselves in the top 10 scorers next to names lik

What opposing goalies saw bearing down on them last Spring Season as Cipps and Wrighty laid waste to the league early in the season

e ‘Doctor Proctor’. Wrighty was 2nd in points on his team for the first half of the Spring season, and third in Corsi as well as shot attempts. Thus, one would think the little ‘Wrighty’ that could would be drafted higher this upcoming MNL Winter season? Unfortunately for Wrighty this was not the case. While his stat and play progression increased over the past two season (he even further proved he was a integral part of the grindline nabbing two points in two games they didn’t share a line) he was still drafted 12th unjustly so by the Whalers. The Whalers have to be pleased that they found ‘Wrighty’ so deep in the draft and will be looking for offense from any source this Winter.

Final Line: 3 Lamps Lit, 4 Apples. 2 PiM. King Clancy Memorial Finalist.

@pniphoratos aka ‘Pistol Pete,’ ‘Recurring Selke Runner Up,’ ‘1988’ Champion Shit Talker of the Midwest,’ ‘The Greek’ -What else is there to say about the self-proclaimed ‘best defensive forward’ in the league? He will be suited up next to the other self proclaimed best defensive forward in the league on a line that should like dynamic. Although ‘The Greek’ isn’t what he used to be back in his younger says (he’ll tell you that) he still can turn it on in spurts enough to give goalies an actual scare, and enough to make defenses respect and give him space to operate.

With higher talented tools at his disposal this year keep an eye on the ‘Pistol’ to see how he bounces between the 1A and 1B line juggling of  The Mighty Ducks. His numbers will be akin to last years just with more assists. He’s a play maker with defensive ability through and through.

Final Line: Ginos 10. 16 Helpers. 6 PiM. Selke Runner Up. Best Corsi Percentage on the Mighty Ducks; number 3 in the league.

@JimE aka ‘Jumpin Jim’ -You can hear it now. A holla in a falsetto voice from @pantydropper just outside the glass. ‘JUMPINNN!’ Mr. Ellis had a rough inaugural session on the now famous ‘Diques.’ As he was stuck on the bottom dwelling squad all season. Although a role player, he has the potential to excel going forward in whatever capacity he is placed. He is an asset as one of the niche players that can play both D or F in this league, and his skating ability has increased significantly over the Spring Session of MNL; having the second highest Completed Passes Percentage and the Second Highest TOI for PK’s on the High Sticks in Spring.

If ‘Jumpin Jim’ can keep calm with the puck on his stick and get the proper break out on D, and or remain calm while he maintains possession in the offensive zone he can contribute as both a serviceable non-erroring 2nd pairing Dman, and on the grindline as a primary, and secondary setup man. Correct usage of his utility will be the key here, but I feel @JimE will only build on his success in the Spring and late fall; enjoying the game more while his team isn’t featured at the bottom of the table.

Final Line: 1G, 4 Helpers, 4PiM. 2nd Pairing D Norris Trophy Nomination.

@DaveP -Everyone knows league beaut @DaveP. The walking, smack talking, misspelling, toofless, mighty mouse that is like a Yellow Jacket on cocaine trying to drink sugar water. If you have the puck and feel a stick, that back check is likely his (even if his team isn’t playing). His off season regimen of a perverse Planet Fitness/Crossfit hybrid-workout regimen called Sisyphus has led to great conditioning that the Diques’ are pleased with, and as a result will be asking a lot from @DaveP this 2nd annual MNL season. This including a increase of twine finding from the tradtional playmaker. If his trend in scoring continues from Book Hockey in the Spring the Diques will see an uptick in scoring, and offensive production overall. The key will be to keep him out of the box just as he did in Spring as opposed to Winter where he took 10 PiM last season.

Setting up their main goal scorer Gio, or keeping him defensively shutting down the other teams top line will be key for the Diques. If Dave can keep his remaining chiclets in check, and see PP time with Gio, Cunningham and Bin, he could exceed expectations this contract year being a free agent this Spring.

Final Line: Twine Finders 5. 14 Helpers. Sin Bin 6. Teef Lost 0.

@Wilke aka ‘The Professor’ -I know what you’re all thinking. When did that Streetball point guard ‘The Professor’ enter our league? He entered last season, and has always been here. Wilkie will be playing up front for the Golden Seals seeing ice time between the possible best grindline in the league of: Vinande, House, Wilke. As he has showcased in the past he will “school” you in corners and find the backdoor out front in the net. He had an above average chances created number in the league. With linemates, and possible similar ‘sleepers’ this line, and Wilke could be dangerous this Winter.

A live look at Wilke letting you know how he expects more from you in the corners.

Final Line: Lamps Lit 2, Helpers 8. PiM 4. Grindline Top 5 Scorer. Detentions Handed Out 8.

@Tye aka ‘Haley’s Dreamboat,’ ‘3rd Star in the Belt’ -Lastly the Asst. GM of the Northstars himself and third star in @chad’s pants Tye Otto. Taking a needed summer break Tye began renewed with early morning skates at Ligget beating up on the retirees of MNL. These skates have served him well as they have eased the mighty enforcer back into the rigors of a full season swing.

This training has paid off as he’s hit the proverbial ice skating tallying up goals and points alike arlready in Nstars and WBW skates alike. He’s a strong body with a nose for the net -while it’s not pungent with the smell of stale beer anyways. Both Ottos on the Northstars have seem to take the Keg hunt this year seriously and that is important for the fans back home. As the Nstars will need Tye and his open brashness  to irritate opponents and goalies alike to let their ‘Polish’ center feed the giants the biscis.

Final Line: Lamps Lit 5, Apples 6. PiM 6. Grindline Top 5 Scorer. 5 Rockets Wheeled. 3rd Most Hits Laid in MNL.

And with that your twice retyped, forever draft recap/preseason/season predictions is finally over. Good luck to the teams that play today. May the ice be cold and the beer be colder. (I didn’t touch on everyone that was originally highlighted orange because I had already done that before I had technical issues and lost my first draft of this last Monday. Apologies in advance.)
