GM Harassment of Official Causes Controversy

Undoctored image of Allen berating the refs

Togers General Manager and “Captain” Ryan Allen has been issued a one week suspension for violating Rule 1 of the MNL handbook: conduct unbefitting of the MNLHL. Allen showed blatant disrespect of the refs on Monday night when he admitted to the on-ice official that he had missed a scored goal against the Togers, undermining the ref’s authority under the guise of “sportsmanship.”

To be clear, berating the refs is an MNLHL tradition, and if that were a punishable offense Woodsie would be suspended every week. What is unbefitting of the league is the truthful retelling of on-ice incidents. When asked for comment, Essence of Otto front-runner Troy responded “How am I supposed to justify putting the North Stars in 2nd in the power rankings after a 5-1 loss if I’m expected to tell the truth? This honesty nonsense is bad for the league and bad for business.”

Ryan Allen could not be reached for comment, as he is currently working with the refs to remove a goal from the score sheet because he believes he might have been offsides.
