Last night at Viking Ice Arena, spectators in attendance witnessed a shocking display of force from newcomer Jason Dale on league darling and head of the Twin Peaks talent scouts, Paul Proctor. “It’s not Tuesday yet, bitch!” was reportedly heard on the ice. While clearly there was no intent to injure, Mr. Proctor was shaken up on the play, and J. Dale was given some time to think about what he’d done. He attended a meeting with the Player Safety Committee, and there has consequently been a rule update to reflect the impetus on player safety.

In the very next game, Chris Pfister was the victim of another attack, although this went largely unnoticed.
