Dickie Awards Nominations

Last Monday meant the end of the regular season for MNL. It was another spectacular year with great play and strong bonds being forged. The goal of every young MNL’er is to hoist the Keg high above their heads. For everyone except the Ducks this is still a reality. For one lucky team this dream will come to fruition. For the rest of us, our reality will be utter disappointment. There is hope for all who will not become champions of beer league hockey this season… and that is to win a “DICKIE AWARD”! The Dickie Awards are post season individual awards to honor some of the beauties in our great league. These awards live on in the anals of MNL lore and signify the amazing efforts of our players each season.

Nominations for a coveted DICKIE AWARD will be accepted through the semi-finals round of this years playoffs. Each category will be vetted and the finalists for each award will be voted on by the players and dignitaries of the MNL hockey league. A poll will be sent out on SLACK during the Stanley Keg Finals where you will chose the winners. I ask that you submit your nominees to @pbin12 directly on SLACK or email pbin12@gmail for each category. Please list your nominee and the award you are putting them up for. I also would encourage everyone to submit any new ideas for future awards. Here is a list of the current Dickie Awards to guide you…
