Today we release the Tenth and final round of skaters in the 2019/20 MNL Draft. The round includes some names that could easily be off the board by now. I view these players as the finishing touches for Championship clubs. Think of these guys as the bow on top of the present… I obsequiously present to you the “Final Round”!
64. Nordiques: Charles Machi – Big sexy himself. Aficionado of all things pussy. Works his butt off and often finds himself in the right position to contribute to the cause. Great locker room presence and always has a smile on his face.
65. Whalers: Justin Wright – Lost in the frenzy of the draft is emerging super star JWright. After finally being drafted by the Whalers he said “Somebody just told me that they dropped my name tag on the floor about an hour ago and everyone forgot about me”. Reigning Dickie Award winner for Unsung Hero and Most Improved Player, he could find himself playing on the top line with Andy Femm and Chris Taylor.
66. Seals: Bob Gibb – Another guy here that should have been drafted already. The Seals get a veteran defensman who doesn’t command a lot of salary cap. Gibb uses his solid body mass and positioning well in the defensive zone.
67. North Stars: Crnkovich – No idea…
68. Ducks: Pikora – One of the few former MNL’ers to find his way back home. “Once we (I) get rid of some turd from MNL they are never allowed back… Just ask Danny Hull” said MNL Overlord Troy Otto. It seems that an exception has been made for Pikora. Welcome home!
69. Tigers: Jim Ellis – More handsome of the two Flying Ellis Brothers. Once lead the St. Joan of Arc Charger’s football team to the Catholic Youth Organization of the Archdiocese of Detroit League quarter finals. You have to love his determination and compete level.
70. Americans: Sam Machi – He may be this year’s Mr. Irrelevant but just see how that worked out for Chad Paulinski. Wait a second… don’t look how Chad’s MNL turned out. Notable chemist at Dupont, Sammy can be the right ingredient on the Americans. His play continues to improve and he looks good in his role as a former American MNL Champion.
