Champion Nordiques Settle On Blockbuster Trade With Scheming Golden Seals

After days of deliberations, and multiple outbursts by Seals GM Whoop Otto, the Nordiques and the Seals have agreed on a trade of 3 draft spots each.

Seals Get: #8, #36, and #49 overall picks

Nordiques Get: #19, #24, and #52 overall picks

When reached for comment, superstar Nordiques GM Jeremy “Pantydropper” Drager commented, “We know this isn’t the sexiest trade on paper, but we are looking to build a strong team in the core of the draft.” Co-GM Jeremy “Jumbo Playmaker” Coan agreed that he was also working on his core, but for the Health and Wellness competition.

On the other side of the trade, Whoop believes he made all the right choices. “It’s pretty complex math, but our knowledge of the other GMs suggested we need to make these moves if we want to compete. Pearcy has us as a bust for the playoffs, and we know this move will turn some heads and change his opinion.”

Before the ink was dry, perennial runner up and North Stars GM Troy Otto commented on the trade, saying “Seals traded away 95 spots, Diques traded away 93 spots. My math says Seals won this trade.” Whoop was alleged to retort, “That math had you winning last year’s trade.”
