Dickie’s Way Too Early Mock Draft Fourth Round

pervert...

Here comes the meat and potatoes of every team. These are the guys who form the nucleus and heartbeat of their respective clubs. The guys you want to go to battle with. The guys who will bleed (and lose chicklets) to win. Round four here we go…

22. Nordiques – Charlie Gram: Came in as just a sub for the General and has earned his way into the hearts and minds of MNL fans across the world. Very close replica of the General. Think of the amount of room you would have as a center between those two animals. GM Coan looks to add size in his recipe for success. Heavy shot, soft hands and high hockey IQ.

23. Whalers – Corey Zauner: Known by his friends and enemies alike as THE MOUNTAIN! Finished as a finalist for defenseman of the year last season. The man is huge. Opposing players pay a heavy penalty trying to stand in front of his net. Makes smart plays with the puck and uses the high glass effectively. Solid stay at home defenseman.

24. Golden Seals – Dave Podolan: The pesky forward adds a spark to any lineup. He’s high energy. Stick handles like he’s chopping steak. But by working with strength and conditioning coach Danny Hall his hands have improved. Look for the Seals to use this pick around December as trade bait. The better Vape plays until then, the better return on Whoop’s investment to acquire top end talent.

25. North Stars – Rivet: No idea who this is… rumored to be living in semi-seclusion ever since the unfortunate Denny Pratt incident.

26. Ducks – Tim Braunscheidel: Brauny solidifies the defensive corps. Smart hockey player who always has his nose around the puck. Rare combination of size and instinct. Veteran presence in the clubhouse. No weakness in his game.

27. Tigers – Jeff Skillman: Predetermined and slated as the Tigers 4th round selection. May feel the pressure of managing his own team but it cant let his play be affected. Physical presence and not afraid to drive to the net. Softened his game last year so he needs to get that edge back and distribute some BC two handers. Long reach and body positioning is his game.

28. Americans – AJ Powers: Came onto the MNL radar while playing with the Kamikaze Falcons. Team mate Panty Dropper gave him the stamp of approval and issued in his admission to the league. Quiet guy but a team player. Can chip in offensively. Able to play in all situations. Look for GM Manny to be paired on the blue line with him this season.
