Tye Otto Earns Tye Otto Hat Trick

Tye Otto earned the first ever Tye Otto Hat Trick in history Monday night. He completed it by performing the following stunts:

  • Ref a game that doesn’t end in a brawl between the refs and the players
  • Have a >50.0 SV% in net
  • Skate out

Tye’s multifaceted game was on display for all to see, when he began the night only blowing about half a dozen calls in the 9pm MNL tilt. After a controversial call to end the shootout, Tye told reporters he had a new respect for inaugural MNL Ref Rick for all his solo games. He also admitted he couldn’t see a lot of shit, allowing CLAWZ PAWZ spokesman Troy Otto to weasel in an asterisk for their loss.

Alright, I want a good clean game now, ya hear?

10 minutes later, Tye was in the ice bath when he realized, “Oh shit! I gotta play in the 10pm game!” He rushed out to the ice as fast as Tye Otto is capable of rushing, only to find that sub goalie Cam Clawson was already halfway home. McShannock rushed to get Cam ready while Tye reluctantly set up between the pipes. Tye played phenomenally, only allowing one goal on 3 shots (that was later disallowed due to pity, allowing Tye to maintain his perfect goalie stats). When Cam sobered up enough to get on the ice, Tye made his way up as a “skater” and managed to even have a shot or two in the 5-1 loss.

I think this ref might be biased

Tye, content with all the work he did, picked up a Hot-N-Ready, a pack of smokes, and a six pack, eager to take on a Todd Otto Hat Trick.

This is Tye Otto Carlos Antonio Machismo signing out.
