Last Night, League Miscreant Danny Hull and Nordiques HypeBoi David Podolan began conversing over beers at League Sponsor House of Shamrocks. Hull, who wore a GoPro while reffing the Seals vs Americans game, was very excited at the prospect of the league:
Hull: Man, this is great. We gotta get everyone to wear their GoPros and we’ll be able make some cool videos with all of it.
daveP; i NO, with taht and the r-tickles and the muzic, we’d be able to sell it.
Hull: …..sell what?
daveP; TIHS! weed get so much cache!
Hull: Like, what are we selling?
daveP; MNL! wheel be RICH!

League Secretary Jeremy Drager was sitting at the table, perplexed by the notion, but slowly started to put Podolan’s methodical mastermind idea together. Drager had been approached multiple times over the last season by many suitor’s hoping to acquire Monday Night Lights, including Troy Adult Hockey League, Hazel Park Ice Arena, and Jack Serda. None of the offers seemed to be what the league was looking for, but Podolan’s ramblings brought a new concept to light: going Public.
Very quickly after the discussion, the announcement was made and took the financial sector by storm. The Initial Public Offering of Monday Night Lights (MNLIPO) is now slated to be the biggest since Facebook’s IPO in 2012. The buzz is even bigger for the MNL IPO. Media pundits are calling it a “cultural touchstone.”
Still sitting at the bar, however, is Danny Hull. He just wanted to make some On The Bench Parody eppies. Now his buddy DaveP is off being a Hockey Mogul and making it big. Has DaveP lost touch and forgotten his roots? Maybe…..maybe. But Danny is happy to just be along for the ride. Now, to watch the games, Hull buys tickets from scalpers outside of Viking Ice Arena, pays $10.50 for 16oz beers and sits in the nose bleeds to enjoy MNL. Still, he dreams about making the Big Leagues one day, as MNL League Commission <del>Gary Bettman</del> David Podolan watches from the pressbox above.
