Busta Issues Apology To Seals Organization

Busta To Blame For Loss?

The seals lost in dramatic fashion last night to the pesky Diques. It was a hard-fought game that ended in a 3-2 loss for the seals who now sit in last place for the second straight week with a potential bid for not making the playoffs. W caught up with Player coach of the Ducks and sub for the Seals, Busta to talk with him about last nights performance.

What are your thoughts on the Seals team after playing with them for the first time?

“I am thankful the Seals gave me a chance to showcase my skills, it just wasnt there tonight. I use to think the Seals were just bad and Todd was all cocky because he was given the Stanley Keg last year with of his fluke pick of Proctor with the 4 pick of the draft, but playing with them, I realized that you can not sleep on them. They get shots on the net and just need to keep cleaning up those rebounds and taking advantage of their quality chances.” -Busta

Busta had so many chances to score last night for the Seals and could have help them beat the Diques but something seemed off. Busta couldn’t catch a pass to save his life let alone put a shot on goal. This is not like Busta, who has been known to get the dirty goals by being in the right places. He was in the right place but couldn’t pull the trigger. DaveP stated “Busta is always in the rite spot, and always wide oppen. He needs to get the puck moore. I wish I was a Duck so I cood just fead him all gayme because he is right their. He just sucked 2day and culdnt get it done, and I am thankfull becuz he was faceing us”

How do you think you preformed in both games last night?

“I played like sh** and cost the Seals a victory. No one is harder on me than me, and i definitely lost some sleep over the chances I missed with the Seals. That game could have easily been 5-3 any other day of the week. If I just catch the damn puck and shoot it, it’s a different ball game. The Diques would be sitting in last place right now crying about how good they think their team is to only lose the last 3 to the “worse” teams. I take full responsibility for the Seals loss and it hurt because now they sit at the bottom in a worse spot and have to try to climb out of that hole. I know how it feels to be in that spot being on the Diques last year. It tough but you just have to keep fighting and not get down after one goal. They have the team to do it but they just need to find themselves. Chatter Box and Peso played a great game and tried getting me the puck all night. I just couldn’t finish and nothing hurts more than disappointing an already disappointed team. As for the Ducks game, I played okay but I need to be fresh for my team next time especially against the North Stars. That was a big game for us and we blew it. I was gassed when the team needed me to set the tone of play and set the example and I didn’t do that. It was a good team effort that just fell short at the end. It happens. We will refocus, and get ready for next weeks match up against the Whalers and come out next week strong. I would really just like to apologize to the Seals organization for my performance. I know I am no game changer but I have to get it done when it’s handed to me, no excuses. I appreciate the call up and hope I get another chance to show what I can really do. Keep your heads up, its hard not to get frustrated but you just have to start fresh every week. I will be picking them to upset the cocky North Stars next week after what I saw last night.” – Busta

There you have it, Busta apologizes for the way he played for the seals and just needs to play better when called upon. We also had a chance to catch up with Ducks center Pistol Pete and asked how he thought the game went.

“UH, well you know, you go out there and GIVE 110%  and you want to play good and you hope you play good. And I think we PLAYED GOOD TONIGHT. You know, there is no “I” in the word team and this is a team effort and I just want to say I am proud to be associated with theses fine individuals that I have had the pleasure of working with. I just go out there and give 110%.” – Pistol Pete
